There are many reasons to work for us. Here at Breast Cancer Now you can expect to work in a vibrant, forward-thinking environment, where achievement is celebrated and people are at the centre of our work.   We can offer you the opportunity to pursue a fulfilling and rewarding career and you can be confident that you are making a real difference.

Performance covers the different ways in which we value our people and recognising achievements is a key part of that. Here we celebrate our people’s performance, and reward our high achieving individuals and teams in different ways.

Shirley Garman award

An annual award designed to recognise the innovative and creative contribution made by an individual colleague who has enabled a step change in our ability to achieve our vision. We work with the winner to identify and pursue a 'money-can't-buy' personally tailored development opportunity.

Becs James award

An annual award designed to recognise a team who have worked together to make an exceptional contribution to Breast Cancer Now and demonstrated and promoted our values. The winners will receive a team-day out.

Competitive pay levels

We regularly review pay to ensure that our salary levels remain competitive and reflect our people’s hard work.

Thank you awards

‘Thank-you’ awards are paid in recognition of a job exceptionally well done or for work undertaken outside of your normal remit. These are usually in the form of gift vouchers.

When it comes to rewarding our people, we offer everything you would expect, as well as making sure we go beyond the basics. In order to attract and retain the professional, talented and enthusiastic people we need in order to achieve our vision, we’re committed to looking after our people as a whole - financially, physically, socially and emotionally.

Here are a few things we can offer you, in exchange for your hard work, commitment and expertise:

We operate a group personal pension plan, which we also contribute to, up to a maximum of 7% of your gross salary. Furthermore, if you join the salary exchange scheme, you will make savings on your income tax and National Insurance contributions.
